From time to time we organise after school cookery clubs where primary school children get the chance to learn to cook. Castle Community College and Walmer Science College have both played host to these 6-week clubs and the children have produced dishes including lasagne, apple crumble and spicy chicken curry.
Keep a look out for our newsletters – distributed to the children at school – for dates of any future after school cookery clubs. They are very popular and a wonderful way for children to enjoy preparing dishes using fresh ingredients, widen their horizons and experiment with tastes and textures.
